Debbie H. Stephens

An Illinois native and Syracuse University graduate with a degree in Sociology, Debbie's love affair with horses and equestrian sport began at a very young age. She has had a tremendously successful career including her record breaking, historical outdoor High Jump on "Rocky Racoon". They cleared the wall in Cincinatti at 7'8" in 1982. Watch Video. Debbie is now based in theTampa bay area, Florida, where she has her own top show jumping operation, Centennial Equestrian Farm, Inc.

Debbie accomplishments include riding for the USET winning nations cup team in Lanaken Belgium, and winning the American Invitational with Volan in Tampa, FL.  

With the changing equestrian industry today, Debbie recognizes there is a challenge for aspiring riders to reach their goals, to move from local competitions to upper level competitions, from beginner/intermediate divisions to a much higher level of training.  Debbie’s experience has been at the highest level of competition and training worldwide.  Today she aspires to create that bridge and provide the opportunity for all riders to take the next “jump” ahead in there career.  


♦ With the United States Equestrian Team, was the leading rider at         Rome CSI-O riding Abdullah.

♦Jumped 7'8" at Cincinnati, Ohio with Rocky Raccoon, setting an outdoor Ladies' Jump record.

♦Won the AGA $100,000 Championship at the Brendon Byrce Areana on Volan in Tampa, Florida.

♦Won the $100,000 American Invitational on Volan in the Raymond James Stadium.

♦Won the $75,000 Cincinnati Grand Prix on Volan.

♦Was on the winning Nations Cup Team in Lanaken, Belgium. the $250,000 Nations Cup.

Was in Back-to-back Pan American Games, Havanna, Cuba and Buenos Aires, . on both Bronze Medal Teams.

♦Won with the United States Equestrian Team at the National Horse Show and the Winter Fair. the Bank of Montreal Nations Cup Trophy
